Privacy Policy

KnowledgeNav is an early alpha product operated by Arty Fishall LLC ("KnowledgeNav," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use it and how we handle it. As the product evolves, this policy will too.

Information we collect

When you sign in, we collect the email address you provide, used only to send you a magic sign-in link and to identify your account. When you use the product, we store the outcomes you describe (your "intents") and any interface you choose to save as a "World," including whatever details you typed into it. Please avoid entering highly sensitive information (such as government ID numbers or account credentials) into KnowledgeNav.

How we use it

We use your email to authenticate you and communicate about your account. We send the text of your intents to OpenAI's API to generate the interface you see. We store your saved Worlds so you can resume them later, and we keep a technical log of which model and capabilities handled each request (intent text, model used, success/failure) to operate and improve the product. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

We rely on a small number of service providers to run KnowledgeNav: OpenAI (processes your intent text to generate interfaces), Supabase (hosts our database and handles authentication), and Vercel (hosts the application). Each of these providers processes data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms. We do not otherwise share your personal information with third parties, and we do not sell it.

Data retention and deletion

Your account and saved Worlds are retained until you delete them or ask us to. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email contact@knowledgenav.ai.

Security

Your saved Worlds are protected by database-level access controls (Row Level Security) so that only your signed-in account can read or modify them. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

KnowledgeNav is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. Continued use of KnowledgeNav after an update means you accept the revised policy.
